Convention 2012 Roommates

As in past years I will be handling roommates. If you travel alone or you pal can’t join you in 2012 contact me and I will try to hook you up for a roommate. This is fairly simple. You contact me and I give you the information on whoever has signed up for a roommate, you make you deal with the other person and contact me that a deal has been made. I take you both off my list.

I ask for your age and your contact information. I would not want to give a person who is 18 the name of a person who is 80. If you ok this type of arrangement that’s fine but if not I will try for a closer age match.

A couple of years ago I have a person whose name was Dale apply and I tried to hook HER up with a man. That didn’t work either way. So I request some personal info too.

There have been only a couple of total misses over the years of roommates, poor matches that no one could expect so hopefully the roommates effort will be a cost saving and a good experience for you. There have been some real winners too. One year a friend contacted me the week before the convention, his wife could not attend and another man also contacted me the same week. By that time usually all the matches have been made. My friend was a seasoned Iris Convention attendee and the other man was attending for the first year. They had a great time.
